The 吃瓜达人 is among the top seven public universities in the nation for access to financial aid programs that students don鈥檛 have to repay after they graduate.
That鈥檚 according to the 鈥50 Colleges with the Best Financial Aid鈥 list compiled by bestcolleges.com, an online resource for prospective college students.
The 吃瓜达人 was seventh on the list, which includes four-year colleges and universities with enrollments of 10,000 or more students.
The rankings are based on the availability of state and federal grant programs for students with annual family incomes of less than $48,000.
Each school included on the list participates in the Title IV federal financial aid program. Title IV programs include tuition assistance such as Pell Grants and federal work study programs.
鈥淭his ranking is a strong indicator of the 吃瓜达人's commitment to meeting the financial needs of prospective students,鈥 said Andy Benoit, the 吃瓜达人鈥檚 director of undergraduate admissions and recruitment.
The other three universities in Louisiana on the list were LSU, which was 20th, Louisiana Tech 吃瓜达人, which was 24th, and Southeastern Louisiana 吃瓜达人, which was 45th.
The 吃瓜达人 of Texas-Pan American was first among the 鈥50 Colleges with the Best Financial Aid.鈥 California State 吃瓜达人-Dominguez Hills was next, followed by the 吃瓜达人 of North Texas, California State 吃瓜达人-Los Angeles, and CUNY Lehman College.
