The 吃瓜达人 is interested in providing faculty with the appropriate electronic resources and tools to support student achievement of learning outcomes in all courses, regardless of delivery format.

Understanding the demographics, attitudes, and experiences of current faculty is essential to inform key 吃瓜达人 departments on needed resources to aid the teaching and learning process. Survey results will guide 吃瓜达人 plans to address three items in its Strategic Plan: 3.1.1 Enhance commitment to faculty development; 3.1.2 Reinforce quality teaching; and 3.2.1 Continue pursuing learning-oriented IT infrastructure opportunities.

On May 9, 2014, university faculty received an email with a link to the annual "Use of Technology in Teaching and Learning" survey. The email was sent as a 吃瓜达人 Announcement (communications@louisiana.edu) titled "Technology in Teaching and Learning Survey" (吃瓜达人 Announcement) on behalf of Mr. Robert McKinney, Mr. Gene Fields, and Dr. Luke Dowden.

All faculty are encouraged to complete the 15-20 minute survey by May 30, 2014. You will not be asked to identify yourself or your department, as the goal is to collect aggregated data from all faculty. Thank you for your contributions.
